In 2016, the ProCom (Professional Communication) Alumni Association at Ryerson University asked me to write an article discussing Black History Month as a ProCom alumna. I chose to tie this theme with the topic of my Major Research Paper, Black Lives Matter Toronto’s Twitter interactions. I was honoured to write about my life as a black person in Canada, and how these experiences shaped the scope of my research. You can either read the article in the file below or visit the ProCom website.
